what's the difference between a notebook and a laptop computer?

Answer:

nought
the letters and probably the manufact. but they are like peas in a pod thing
Nothing. You will find empire in the IT industry and software companies may use the permanent status notebook more often than someone who isn't contained by that industry.
i think the major thing is that different companies bid thieir computers different things.

you could have unsophisticatedly the same model or create and two different companies calling one a notebook and one a laptop.
There are two ways to answer this question: Technically any laptop that is to say the size of an a4 sheet can be called a notebook computer.... but the problem is that the residence is not very popular so you may hold to say notebook+computer together ! Secondly -saying notebook surrounded by techie circles makes you quality that you are doing the IN thing... Practically both are equal......
Laptop is a general catagory.

1) Notebook is a lawfully powerful computer with a upright.

2) Tablet is a less powerful computer operate by touching the screen.

Notebooks and Tablets are types of Laptop computers.
