what's the easiet and cheapest approach to affix wireless internet to my laptop?

Answer:

Mooch bad someone else's wireless.
Tap into your neighbors wireless network for free =)
Buy a wifi card
If your laptop doesn't enjoy a built in wireless card, the easiest and cheapest piece to do would be to buy a wireless notebook card for it. These can be cheap or expensive, depending on which you get.

Make sure your laptop have a slot for it before you buy one.
I would read out get a USB wireless adapter. I meditate if you look around you can find them for about 30 bucks.

Next time, buy a Macintosh with wireless built within (relatively simple to activate). My wife and I have three Macs (2 desktops and an elder laptop) interconnected in a home wireless system and are absollutely detective novel.
