what's the best laptop surrounded by the lb400 to lb500 nouns? and why?

thought I'd ask you guys

Answer:

Normally I'd suggest a Dell Inspiron (I enjoy a Dell Inspiron 9400), but for lb400 or lb500 you are looking at the budget ones...

I'd suggest one of the larger manufacturers close to Acer, Lenovo, Packard Bell or HP ... and as they all market in the shops, you can well return it to your local Perconal Computer World or Currys store

In my links you can find reviews of the best ones in consistent price ranges.

Whatever one you buy make sure its not a celeron, they hold limited cache and are slow near floating point calculations.

All within all they are unbelievably slow.

Look for laptops with at smallest 4 hours run time (up to) otherwise you will always find you own to have it plugged contained by.

Having a SATA hard drive on a laptop is a suitable idea as this is quicker than standard IDE drives.

Remember to capture one with a DVD Writer if you want to write DVDs.

Best Processors are Pentium M (designed for Mobile use), Dual Core or AMDs Turion Series (though they can receive hot)
Why don't you save some more money and carry a decent breed such as Sony, Toshiba etc. I wouldn't recommend Dell personally but it is a business of taste. Wait a short time longer as Vista is being released and here will be cuts made on laptops supplied with XP
Get a used Dell Inspiron 700m -lightweight ,hurried ,good looking ,drivers available if you want them trouble-free to set up ,good battery-operated life ,nice peak ,tough enough ,trouble-free to use, wireless connections are A1,good components ,requirement more??
