Something low priced but worthy enough for storing word processing and related programs approaching Final Draft. Decent hard drive. Any recommedations? I be looking at a Panasonic CF-72 Toughbook for $333 (850Mhz - 20 gig HD - 11.5 screen) I a moment ago want to be able to write outdoors. Please assist.

Answer:

any notebook will do that ... my recommendation ---> carry somthing with a great blind and pay alittle more ... somthing similar to uxga and really clear and bright if ur gonna use it outside ...
a basic laptop will suit you fine

you will want to procure one with a mobile that lasts moderately a while
if you really want to save what your writing afterwards you better concentrate not on batteries for outdoor writing but proven tough drives that wont crash on you and if your writing a novel or reports you better backup to disk or thumb drive
You entail to give us more details resembling your budget and what size laptop you want, your battery time you want, etc.

You'll have to focus most on a laptop next to a good baby grand and screen, I hear matte screen are good for outdoors?
