My Dell laptop be shipped with a massive resource hog, PC-illin..or something approaching that, and I'd like to install a simple firewall and A/V. I enjoy the free version of AVG but it will be expiring soon. The singular bonus of this PC-illin' is wireless network detection but I'd resembling to find something else. Any suggestions?

AVAST is by far the best free anti virus program. I've tried AVG, and Avast does a better job at finding, removing and preventing virus.

If you are satisfied beside AVG you can download the new 7.5 text for free also on the Grisoft web site. I freshly downloaded it this morning.
