What's the different between Intel core duo near Intel core 2 duo?

It's second social group of dual processor, it has better enactment than the old core duo.



Many exam prove that the core 2 duo is better in different percentage concert from core duo around 9% to 60%, depend on what kind of application that you run.



If you already own core duo no need to upgrade to core 2 duo.

but if you're going to buy topical one I'll recommend core 2 duo because the price almost the same.
Intel is using the sequential naming conspire it used for its famous Pentium brand and applying it to the modern Core line of chips.



Core Duo be the first line of dual core processors ( the D series such as 915D)

Core 2 Duo is the second chain of dual core processors (like the E6400)

Core duo is the notebook cpu (typically), the Core duo 2 is the hottest cpu. Just goto www.intel.com for details.
I'll keep it simple, Just pentiums 1,2 3, and 4, one should be faster afterwards the other the more advance it is.
