Whats a moral fairly-priced laptop?

For a college student going past its sell-by date to college? I want it not to cost too much, but to still have a moral amount of power and last for at lowest four years. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer:

I suggest that you receive a dell inpspiron 6400 and customize it enough to run window vista. All this should be around 800 too 1000 dollars but it will be worth the four year. By the way i am currently contained by college.
I have a Toshiba Satellite that does everything you want, battery enthusiasm is good, not to bulky or solid, wireless card. Under $600!
Apple or Lenovo/IBM. I have a Lenovo z61t and I'm a freshman at college. I love my laptop. You should get hold of one that weighs 5 lbs or smaller quantity if you plan on traveling around campus with it. Also, a 14" peak is a perfect size. My laptop have 512 RAM and an 80 GB hard drive, which is pretty devout. I customized it throught lenovo.com and it cost around $1,200. Apple and Lenovo are the best in reliabilty, but I've never have experience with a Mac and adjectives their special software and stuff, so I got a PC. Find a laptop to be exact right for you, but I recommend those two brands.
before vista comes to the open market, there are still some negotiate computers from toshiba, hp, acers and gateway. you can get a 1 see memory; 100+ hard disk, intel/amd processor for around $1000. i consider these pretty virtuous laptop while a lot of those prefer toshiba. if u are not too much into games and downloads, this will be good ample for 4 years. after vista, i don't know how will the prices change
buy acer
how to deal with guys
