What to do?

My Macbook Pro heat up real quik when I place it on my bed. Any one have this problem before?


Answer:

You're probably blocking the fan on the bottom of the unit. Place it on a book, THEN on your bed.
I agree beside above reply, your fan might be blocked, I enjoy toshiba satellite and the fan is most of the time hot since my house warmness is cranked up because of the cold. If you had that laptop for a while close to 2-3 years, then you have need of to clean up the dust accumulate around the fan motor.

Yes I have that problem adjectives the time. I am currently deployed overseas and I have a electric blanket and it realy heat things up sometimes. I guess I answered your question but as for a solution I hold none at this time. Maybe I will ask the question to solve the problem after this. LOL!
Possibly the bed comforter is blocking a devotee output.



There are these thin close to laptop coasters that u plug into a usb port on laptop and it powers 2 fans to dispers steam from your laptop.



They have em at circuit city and bestbuy for around $30
