What type of computer should i attain for everyday computing?

I call for to know if i should get a notebook or mac. then, i will entail to know what company and a desktop or a laptop.

Answer:

Hi, Buying a computer depends on your requirements i.e. Business, Gaming etc

For Business, no doubt you enjoy to buy a laptop (a bit expansive though around 1.5 to 2K USD) and I would recommend IBM T43 / 60, Apple Notebook is cool though but it only runs Mac.

If Gaming is your push button objective, scour internet for gaming specific machines, they are usually PCs but you can buy Gaming laptops as well.

If you want to reclaim money, buy a 17" samsung TFT or LCD monitor and apple small box PC (really cool combination)
You might want to check out the Dell XPS 1210 for a nice notebook computer. I has a built within webcam and wireless internet.
mac's are crap !!!

if u want a laptop go 2ghz cpu near 100gb hdd n 1gb ram

desktop: amd 3500 or intel/p4 3.5ghz cpu next to 320gb hdd n 2gb ram wit clad video n sound cards near 20 inch lcd

A few fan woulsnt hurt any !!!
I don't know much about mac, but I've other used PC. If you just call for the usual internet and word processing stuff, without any big games or other programs I would suggest a cheap generic brand close to Emachines from walmart for 500 dollars for the monitor and everything, or you can get a cheap laptop from walmart for I don`t know 6 or 700 dollars.
I bought the Dell Intel Pentium4 processor Desktop. It's great for when what I use it for. Listening to music, Graphics, and has a great MS Office Suite.Cost me $700.00 after 200 surrounded by rebates, and the peak is slim. I don't have a floppy drive. My mistake oh powerfully. I do have a cd drive though. It's worth looking into.
see for acer
