I am getting on an airplane and want to examine as much video as I can on my laptop before the freestyle goes limp. I have already removed the DVD drive, adjectives files are on the hard drive.
My cross-examine is, which will use less power -
Highly compressed DivX (about 500-600MB/hour) will enjoy less knotty drive spinning but more processing power.
Less compressed MPEG4 in DVD format (About 2GB/hr) will hold far more hard drive spin but smaller number processing power.
Which format is likely to result surrounded by more battery duration.

Answer:
You can try the DVD Slideshow Builder which is very powerful and exceedingly popular now, lots friends and I like it deeply much. It's very graceful to create a customized DVD slide show with photos and video, and I can add music, transitions, and motion effects and take home beautiful DVD menus. To be significant, it has great photo and video editing function that can join your needs. Also, we can create .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .3gp movies for our iPod, Zune and 3GP Cell Phones, Youtube .etc.
It ought to be MPEG4 as this format is used for mobilephones, i Pods and DivX is with the sole purpose for PC's or DVD players. Also size of MPEG4 file is substandard hence access required from the HDD will be lower.
Processors don't rely on much more electric than dvd drives so either mode is about one and the same. but i would say div-x
