What would a Compaq Armada laptop be worth if I did some upgrading to it?

It currently have Win 98SE and was going to put Win 2000 and up the strike to the max, which I think it can hold 512 meg.



Its surrounded by great shape and just curious if I did those upgrades to it, would that increse its appeal a lot of not that much.

Probably wouldn't elevate the value much, if at adjectives. 512mb of ram is pretty much the minimum one would want to run XP near. Judging from the OS it has on it, Win98SE, I'm gonna steal a guess that it only have a Pentium 2, maybe 3 or equivilant, and more than possible not capable of much more than that lacking changing the mainboard.



If I be you, I would probably just hang down onto it, and used it just for word processing, story writing etc...
I own a Compaq M300 Armada Pentium 3 with 256MB Memory and have Win98 OS. I upgraded it to Win 2K and downloaded all the drivers needed. Bottom dash is that is start-up so SLOW and the deeds is quite below adequate. Keep it in Win 98 first or buy a new one. Good Luck!
